So guys SORRY for the late intro to the blog but have had v. full-on last few weeks which have made it almost impossible for me to sit down and focus on thoughts of me me me!!!! However, the time has come for me to claim my 15 minutes of fame and give you guys a taster of what's to come! I actually have no idea what to say but I will play it by ear and alternate between exciting things that have happened during my week... and if that fails epically I shall take you back to retro-soria times!!!!










ANYHOOOOO let us crack on.....

For those of you not already well acquainted with yours truly (and why aren't you?.... your seriously missing out on some awesomeness! lol) My name is Soria and I am currently in my 2... year of life and final year of med school (sacre bleu!!!) :o I am super obsessed about all things K-town (K= Korean) and if I could ever be re-born I would seriously like to be a member of Kara!!! ^.^



When I am not basking in the glory that is K-world, I am usually indulging in old times movies and keeping up with the latest celebrity news (bieber baby true or false?!)! Yes I know that as a soon to be contributing member of society I should keep up-t0-date with ACTUAL news BUT seriously what's happening in the world that hasn't happened before?! I think the news should seriously consider having a segment where they focus on something positive that's happened so people feel slightly optimistic about the next day rather than scared sugarless and deflated! IN FACT I think I will do that on this blog! I will end each post with a happy perky "only positive outcomes" note!
OK so I was watching BBT (Big Bang Theory) and discovered that there is actually a word for people like me!!!! And no I don't mean weird, clinical insane, odd, stalker or any of those commonly associated words.... BUT the word HOMUNCULUS!!!!! I actually love it! It means a fully formed miniature person, which is what I am!!!! ^.^ (errmm... actually screw the miniature I am AVERAGE height according to the global population so ha! and THANK YOU CHINA!!!!)

This week has been pretty uneventful. I have started back in the hospital and have to wake up at the disgusting and UNGAWDLY time of 5:30am! I am seriously NOT a fan of surgery (unless it's a certain beautiful ortho-surgeon who pretty much had me at hello!). There's this awesome youtube video which pretty much sums up the surgical experience and if I can figure out how to add videos and pictures I will attach the video so you guys can have an idea of what I'm up against at the moment! Seriously it's so accurate it's actually SCARY!!!! :s lol




ALSO random insert: I started watching this show called "The Sing Off" and it is SO FREAKIN' AWESOME!!! It's a competition show and it's about acapella groups. It's totally "glee-ish" but warblers-style and I am astounded by what people can do with their voices! I really wish I had a talent for something! I am determined to pick one up though! Any suggestions guys... preferably nothing too physically strenuous and that doesn't involve me making bail?!

Yesterday I watched this amazing documentary called " Life in a Day". It really was stupefying. I was blown away by how different life is for other people around the world but at the same time there isn't much difference in how we think or cope with life's adversities. I would seriously recommend you guys watch it! It really changed my current self indulgent mood!

Anywayz, I have rambled on for absolutely ages (and put off doing my work for tomorrow) so I will sign off on this first post!

p.s. My positive outcome of today is my cousin had her first baby today! This has helped cheer up my whole family after my uncle passed away and it's given everyone one someone new to look forward to meet!!! ^.^
