HOLA MES AMIGOS!!!!!!
¿Cómo estás?
It was lovely seeing you guys last night (and Alex you were sorely missed!!!). It seriously was just what the doctor ordered after a pretty rubbish week back in hospital!
As I moaned to most of you guys yesterday about my week, I will refrain from an encore performance but sum it up for those of you who missed out on my splendid monologue. So here is the sum up!

Monday: 6hr ward round from hell with hot Italian registrar (mean mario)
Tuesday: 2hr ward round from the depths of hell with not as hot but doubly mean Italian consultant (evil luigi) which resulted in 7 out of our 20 patients breaking down into tears... followed by a lecture by him on how he usually has that affect on people including his medical students. GREAT!!!!

Wednesday: Got a needle-stick injury courtesy of evil luigi!
Thursday: Spent the day between A&E and Occup. Health trying to sort of needle-stick and being further prodded and poked (worth noting I have an extreme phobia of needles!!!)
Friday: FY1 collapsed mid-morning and bleep was handed over to me... OH THE HORROR!!!! I spent the day maning wards and taking crap from a male nurse who didn't have the gonads to say anything to ACTUAL doctors but wanted to show he was the big man on campus by having a go at me! A brilliant end to an awesome first week wouldn't you say?!
SO THIS BRINGS US TO FRIDAY NIGHT:
I went to a gig in Camden to see a band called Gogal Bordello. Now for those of you who have not heard of GB (basically me until last week). They are a bunch of Ukrainians/Russians/ a black dude and a Japanese lady. They do punk gypsy music and the lead singer Eugene most likely suffers from split personality disorder (he's just really weird!). It was an awesome night none the less which was highlighted by a big rolly-polly man jumping through the crowd and falling over my bag on the floor and taking out a good portion of the middle section of the crowd! It was truly epic! I have attached a clip of my favourite performance. It's from the actual gig and I am somewhere in the crowd!!! ^.^
BTW guys! Don't forget next week Saturday is K-pop!!! Jess would you mind helping me arrange things? Dinner/ pre-drinks followed by a night of groovy dance moves to such classics as "sorry, sorry"! BRING ON THE FUN TIMES!!! ^.^

I probably should include something about a "friend" of mine coming along to K-pop but that story is probably best left to a face-face/ google + convo! Maybe this coming Thursday if everyone is free???
ANYWAYZ there's a patient case study with my name on it sitting nicely next to me that is requiring some TLC!
until next Sunday...
HAVE AN AWESOME WEEK GUYS!!!!!!
