Hello once again Wednesday-ers!
So this is a brief post this week as it has been quite quiet!
I saw my Pocket-sized Nanny on Thursday and we had a nice long chat plus a couple of cups of tea and coffee. On Friday I was supposed to meet up with two friends of mine but they both canceled =oS This was turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it allowed me to work on the giant nose and pair of eyes I am making for the daughter of a friend of the Trout's hen party.
That's right for my mother's friend's daughter's hen party I am making gigantic facial features! I've never even met her but I got volunteered! So it's been paper-mâché, balloons and card for most of my free time. If you're wondering why a giant nose and eyes; well, it comes down to the fact she is obsessed with the sound of music! To the point where she is getting married in the Cathedral Maria did and she is having a hen party where every-one and -thing is dressed like something from the film...So one of the table decorations is "Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes" Easy if foot long noses and huge eyes were purchasable from shops! They aren't by the way (Hence newspaper and PVA glue ruling my dreams!)
On Saturday I went to visit my sister in Worcester and we went to the firework display at the Race ground I've put up some photo's even though you've all seen fireworks before! In case you've forgotten what they look like!
Sunday involved a 5 mile hike up and down a hill side whacking very small balls, into very small holes a very long way away, with very long sticks! That's right I went Golfing with my Dad and my Godfather. It was ace! We spent 3 hours in the brisk morning sunshine, it was amazing and we were really lucky with the weather but, my god, was I shattered afterwards.
Monday and Tuesday were plain lame so I won't bore you with details and today I baked a giant mince pie for me and The Trout, I'll upload photo's of that next week...though it will have been half eaten by then so don't expect much! lol
I'm sorry today's blog has been a tad rushed only I'm having epic issues with my windows movie maker so my entry to the challenge has been stressing me right out! Hopefully will get it finished in time!
