Hi again guys!
So I'm Wednesday's installment of madness, also known as Alikay! A little intro about myself? Let's do this thang: I'm currently 21 and like everyone else who's posted so far I've just graduated in Biomedical Sciences. However, unlike the previous two bloggers my Mom has now stopped trying to marry me off, though she does still want to become Jewish (Well we can't win them all =oS). I'm now spending my days as a jobless bum, scouring the interwebs for an occupation and/or videos of cats falling off things! I'm a happy-go-lucky kinda guy who suffers from moments of sanity in which the crushing reality of the world sends me spinning into an uncontrollable spiral of DOOM! But enough about my mental health issues and on with the freak show!
So what is occurring in the wondrous world that is my life? I shall tell thee: I live in a small village outside of Dudley and Wolverhampton (if you've never heard of these places then think near Birmingham but much, much better!) and I guess I'm becoming more of a Black Country Boy as the days wear on! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Country) The down side to living in a small village during an economic crisis is that work becomes hard to come by; to the point where there are just simply no jobs at all! So imagine my delight when my aunt texts me on Sunday to let me know there is a job being advertised at one of the many local pubs! Huzzah! So with my application well and truly made I now must await for the God of underpaid work to smile on me!
My lack of job (as in work..not the biblical character) has lead to a lack of funds which, this week, has really been drawn to my attention. My long suffering laptop has finely decided to give up the goat...though why it was trying to hang on to a four legged farm animal I will never know...anyway I digress! So Mr laptop (a name i just made up and a poor one at that) is now dying slowly! I've had to back up my entire hard-drive; in case, one morning, I cannot log on and lose all my important *cough* documents. So now I am in search of a new one.
Well, much to my understandable shock; laptops are still costing money these days (when I bought Mr laptop I assumed they would be handing them out for free by the time I needed a new one!) and so I looked online and dreamt of all those shiny new laptops...none of which I could afford. Luckily for me (and in a round about way you; as I will be able to continue to blog...actually that could be to your disadvantage) my lovely, pocket-sized Nanny has agreed to lend me the money I need, to buy myself a new lifeline to the rest of the world (and falling cat videos). So I went today to ask some highly intellectual questions to the PC World man such as "which one should I buy!?"...and I had my reply...and I bought it! (Well I reserved it so I could purchase it on Saturday!) So this should be the first and last time I blog on Mr laptop! Next week I might be blogging on Lord Lappy! Or Sir Toppy! XD
